Bio
Adam Drasin is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, born and raised in Southern California. Music runs deep in his family history. His father had a recording contract with Capitol Records in the 60's. His whole family is full of musicians.
Adam writes his own material & bases all of his lyrics on personal life experiences. He ‘s an old soul, and wears his heart on his sleeve. In his words "I’m pretty honest in my songwriting. You get to know how/what I feel in my songs. Sound wise, I love old rockabilly music, and 40's big band swing! I ;ove to incorporate it all into my sound.
Adam has opened twice for singer/songwriter/surfer Donavon Frankenreiter during his 2012/2013 Start Livin' tour, as well as Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees, Elliot Easton of The Cars, and Pop/Rock band Sugar Ray. He has played all over the LA area for the past 20 years at venues such as The Roxy, The Canyon Club, Hard Rock Cafe, BB Kings Blues Club, Rusty's Surf Ranch, The Derby, Molly Malones, The Viper Room, Ranch Party at the Original Farmers Market, numerous festivals, & more. Now residing in Nashville, he's been all over playing Downtown, Franklin, and more!
Adam released an album in March 2024 titled Memory on the Run. It's a 5 song EP, and back in February 2023 an album titled "The Lonesome Sounds", which is a compilation of some of his more country leaning songs ranging from 2010-2020. He has 3 songs currently in rotation on WMOT Radio 89.5 in Nashville. He plans to return to performing live with his band, and a YouTube series ‘Life in a Band", based on his blog. He’s also currently working on new music!
